The Center offers a meticulously crafted M.S. in Cybersecurity Risk and Strategy, tailored specifically for business executives. During the previous summer, CCS faculty and students collaborated with colleagues from NYU Tandon, educators from NY City College of Technology in the U.S., and the National Institute of Technology – Karnataka (NITK) in India. Together, they developed an extensive summer research program centered on 3-D manufacturing, leveraging expertise in both materials engineering and electrical and computing engineering. EVENTS
The Center for Cybersecurity proudly hosts CSAW, acknowledged as the most comprehensive student-run cybersecurity event globally. Despite the challenges posed by Covid-19, CSAW transitioned to a virtual environment for 2020 and 2021, expanding its repertoire with new competitions and drawing participants to multiple competition sites. Overseen by OSIRIS, a student-run cybersecurity research lab, CSAW also sponsors weekly Hack Nights, immersing students in a diverse array of intricate topics. RESEARCH
Collectively, the esteemed CCS faculty boasts an impressive record, including 7 NSF CAREER awards, 3 Jacobs Excellence in Education awards (an NYU Tandon faculty honor), 2 recipients of the “Brilliant 10 under 30” accolade from Popular Science magazine, and 2 IEEE fellows. In tandem with a cadre of exceptionally talented graduate students, the faculty regularly presents at top-level conferences covering a spectrum of topics from privacy protection to securing hardware elements and software supply chains.
